This is the time of year that gets a little crazy for teachers. Between getting our rooms ready, updating curriculum, and then keeping the house going, it can get a little overwhelming at times. But every year we go back because we absolutely LOVE what we do. So,with that being said, in the midst of our busyness we took some time to make applesauce.
My in-laws have an apple tree that produced a LOT of apples this year. So much so, they didn’t know what to do with all of them. We took a bag. A large grocery sack to be precise. And I was a little concerned we wouldn’t know what to do with them. Thank goodness Adam wanted some more applesauce and I wanted fresh apples for apple pies.

Six bags of apple pie filling are now in the freezer.
And four quarts of applesauce are in the freezer as well.
Now, let the craziness begin! 🙂
